The National Fighting Championship (NFC) was established on June 28th, 2002 by NFC Founder and President, David Oblas.
For 20+ years, we've prided ourselves on finding the best martial arts talent in the southeast, giving them unparalleled exposure to boost their fight careers and build their personal brands. Over 100 of our past and current fighters have succeeded in nationally televised organizations like the UFC, Bellator MMA, and more.

FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
The Youngest Fight Promoter in Georgia at Age 26 and youngest promoter in Georgia to host ESPN2 Boxing Show at age 28. Member of the Georgia Fighers/NFC Hall of Fame for MMA. -
Jesse Wable
MATCHMAKER – MMA & MUAY THAI
Jesse Wable is a former NFC MMA Amateur Champion and member of the Georgia Fighters/NFC Hall of Fame. Jesse has been the matchmaker for many organizations, including the NFC, LFA, and Bellator MMA.

Charlene Dickson
NFC FIGHT DAY SUPERVISOR
Charlene handles all VIP Guests and Sponsors. She has coordinated arrangements for top name celebrities attending NFC Fights including Dana White, Evander Holyfield, Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, and many others.

Geneley Childress
NFC VISUAL DIRECTOR
Geneley is the CEO & Founder of Flatline Cinema and directs and produces all of the NFC Video Content.

Julien Virgin
JOURNALIST AND ANNOUNCER
Julien Virgin is a multimedia journalist who loves covering mixed martial arts and learning the stories of each competitor who steps into the cage. His goal is to continue highlighting and uplifting the voices of local fighters, trainers, and staff related to Atlanta’s MMA community.

Kimberly is the former host of Inside Punch on Comcast on Demand, former in-game host for The Arena football’s Georgia Force, and former entertainment reporter for the nationally syndicated show Two Live Stews.

Mike O'Kelly is an entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of The O'Kelly Consulting Group, a boutique marketing, advertising, and business consulting agency located in Atlanta, Georgia. He's passionate about helping small and medium-sized businesses grow, leveraging his extensive industry knowledge and proven strategies.

Devin Folser
INTERN
Devin Folser is an intern for the NFC this semester performing many duties as low as setting up the cage and as high as running the front door and everything in between! Devin is also the starting kicker for the Mercer football team and is hoping to become an attorney or sports agent upon graduating.

Greg Maichryc has been our head NFC cage installer since 2018 and has recently been promoted to our head of venue setup! When you arrive at the venue and see how nice our NFC cage and venue looks, much is thanks to Greg!
